Decorating and
Fung Shui Workshop
Treggen Interior Décor is now running
workshops in Decorating and Feng Shui. If you are building or renovating or
just interested in redecorating
your home, why not come along to our workshop and gain confidence and skills to
enable to complete your project yourself.
Decorating and Feng Shui course outline –
The workshop consists of 3 x 2 hour
sessions, run over a period of 3 weeks. It is designed to give you both
individual and general information and most of all it is fun and social. We all
interact as a group and discuss each participant’s project; most groups consist
of about 5 participants. The cost is $100 .
Week 1 –
Introductions and discussion about each
participant’s project and why they are doing the course.
I will show sample story boards you will then complete one of these at
home. On this board you will paste pictures of items that you would like to
include in your project. e.g. paint colours, carpet colours, fabric samples,
and pictures of flooring, furniture, lamps or anything that you would like to
include in your newly decorated room/house.
Outline some of the basic principles of
Feng Shui and in the first session, starting at the Front Gate, we will discuss
Feng Shui and the garden.
Week 2
We will be discussing decorating and
looking at furnishings, window coverings, adding colour with artwork, cushions
etc.
This session involves looking at different
pictures and discussing more about Feng Shui principles with decorating and
placement of furniture.
Week 3
We will be looking at the Bagua and your
house plan and defining the areas of your home and how best to energise these
areas. We will also be looking at completed story boards and discuss these, you
will receive feed back from both tutor and class mates.
